Alexander My Queen

I still get wowed by Alexander McQueen's work. He was one designer who really understood the measure of a women and the way in which we all really want to be beautiful. But beautiful in our own unique ways in a celebration of who we are and how different we all are.
In his Savage Beauty collection, he took a range of elements and created breathtaking items that would make any woman feel amazing. A lot of designers nowadays aren't celebrating the natural beauty that surrounds us and some seem adamant in making women tough, militant and swamped in dull colours. McQueen's collection released those chains and has given us truly feminine designs.
My favourite is this red cloak and dress with the Faberge egg purse. It's a gorgeous, Russian inspired outfit and I love every part of it.
